Noodle is certainly one of the most favorite foods for Indonesian people. Its very simple to cook a cup of noodle. No need special expertise, and it is cheap. Actually, as the main food of Indonesian is rice, noodle is just a complimentary. But as its can give the feeling of “full” after eating it, then many people start enjoying noodle as substitute of rice.

For those who live outside Indonesia consuming noodle also one of the trick to less spend on food, as ordinary food is expensive, especially for students who have only limited budget. But, it is hard to find noodle, especially Indonesian made noodle. Not so many that can be brought when they just came back from Indonesia.

It is very interesting when I found Indomie (the best selling noodle in Indonesia) displayed in main aisle in Woolworth Central Sydney, last October 2007. Wow its seems that not only Australian chocolate invade Indonesia, but so Indonesian Noodle!
